Your health data stays yours.

WholeMark App operates WholeMark. Privacy questions and requests can be sent to wholemarkapp@gmail.com.

WholeMark records nutrition, weight and optional wellbeing habits. When you use the app without signing in, these records remain in your browser. When you enable private sync, they are stored in the connected Supabase project and isolated to your account.

What is stored

Your chosen display name, profile inputs, foods, daily servings, weight entries, alcohol status, meditation sessions, workout days and whether you journaled on a given day. WholeMark tracks the journaling habit only; it does not store journal text. Product-page addresses and food-search terms are processed only to find the nutrition information you request.

Accounts and sign-in

You may use WholeMark without an account, sign in by email, or use Apple or Google when those options are enabled. Supabase manages authentication. Apple or Google may provide a verified email address and limited account profile information according to the permissions shown during sign-in. WholeMark does not request access to contacts, files, calendars or unrelated provider data.

Nutrition sources

Generic-food searches may be sent to United States Department of Agriculture FoodData Central. Packaged-food searches may be sent to Open Food Facts. Saved foods retain source information so you can review where the nutrition values came from. Product-page imports retrieve the public page you submit. Database and label values can be incomplete or change over time, so serving values should be reviewed before saving.

Photo analysis

When you choose photo analysis, the selected packaging, nutrition-label or meal images are sent securely to OpenAI to extract or estimate nutrition values. WholeMark requests that these model responses are not stored by the application programming interface. The original full-resolution image is not saved in your WholeMark account. If you save the resulting food, a smaller preview may be stored privately with that food. Meal-photo values are estimates and should be reviewed before saving.

Payments

If you subscribe to WholeMark Plus, Stripe processes checkout, payment details and subscription management. WholeMark stores only the identifiers and subscription status needed to provide paid features; it does not store full card details.

Control

You can export your records from Settings at any time. You can also permanently delete your account and associated cloud records. Local browser data can be removed by clearing this site’s storage.

Purpose and limits

The information is used only to operate your tracker. Nutrient calculations and reference comparisons are informational and are not medical advice, diagnosis or treatment.

Service providers

Fly.io hosts the application, Supabase provides authentication and private database storage, Cloudflare provides network security and delivery, OpenAI provides optional photo analysis, and Stripe provides optional subscription payments. Apple and Google may provide optional sign-in. United States Department of Agriculture FoodData Central, Open Food Facts and the public product pages you submit provide nutrition information.
